Mario Lemieux Pittsburgh Penguins Autographed The Sporting News Page in a 13x16 Frame

Yes, the newspaper page in the image has yellowed, has some staining and other wear.  However, this framed page from the February 23, 1987 issue of The Sporting News was signed by Mario Lemieux, Pittsburgh Penguins legend, over 30 years ago.  The Sporting News page and a few other items were mailed to Mario Lemieux in the late 1980's and returned within the year autographed. 

We have held the items for 30 years and several months ago sent the article and other items to Certified Authentication Services for verification as to the authenticity of the autographs.  The items were examined by Mike Root, the owner of the company, and returned with their holograms and COA's. 

You will find pucks, photos, jerseys and other items signed by Mario Lemieux on the internet today.  We doubt you will ever find an autographed original The Sporting News page from 30+ years ago.  This is a collector's item for the true hockey or true Pittsburgh Penguins memorabilia collector.

The Sporting News story has been mounted on matting and photographed in a frame without the glass front to avoid reflections.  The item was then re-framed with the glass.
