Games of the XXIIIrd Olympiad Los Angeles 1984 Transit Token Coin Set

Set of 24 coins in original case commemorating the XXIIIrd Olympiad Los Angeles in 1984. This commemorative set of transit fare tokens was created for the Southern California Rapid Transit District in cooperation with the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee for use during the 1984 Olympic Year. Each token is distinctively designed nad crafted to illustrate the 23 sports represented at the 1984 Olympic Games. The 24th token represents with universal spirit of the 1984 Olympic Games held in the city of Los Angeles. The reverse side of each coin bears the official symbols of the XXIIIrd Olympiad. The set was designed by the noted numismatic artist, N. Neil Harris. 11" x 7.5". Each coin is 1.5" in diameter.

The box is unopened and in its original shrink-wrap and cardboard sleeve.  The imperfections in the image are due to photographing through the plastic.
